Day 3: March 24, 2019
We arrived in New Zealand early this morning and were met at the airport by Paul our Tour Director and Wayneour Tour Driver. We boarded our coach and traveled into Auckland ('City of Sails') for an orientation tour before our first stop at Kelly Tarltons SEALIFE Aquarium. The Antarctic Encounter is home to New Zealand’s only colony of sub-Antarctic penguins, offering us a rare opportunity to get up close to the playful King and Gentoo penguins. Then we visited the Auckland Museum, before travelling South to Matamata - home to Hobbiton! It's been a very long day as we continue on to Rotorua for the night.
