Day 4: July 13, 2023
We started our 2nd Tokyo tour with a 15-minute ride of Yurikamome monorail to Odaiba, a very popular water front commercial and business district in Tokyo bay. First we visited a science museum "Miraikan", where we enjoyed various diplays in science, comuter, IA, biology and so forth. The most popular booth was AI robots. One of our members enjoyed comunicating with the female AI robot in Japanese! And then we walked to Diver City, the biggest shopping mall in Odaiba to enjoy lunch and shopping. All of us enjoyed taking photos with the huge GUNDUM robot standing in front of Diver City. In the afternoon we visited Tokyo Tower, which was a 333m tall signal tower and the symbol of Tokyo. Most of us tried to walk on the transparent windows on the 1st floor in the main deck. We were lucky enough to see the top part of Mt.Fuji from the deck. Today's last stop was Akihabara, a paradise for "otaku" people who love anime, manga, figure dolls and maid cafe. Some of us bought specic items for themselves or as a souvenir. It was mainly cloudy all day long today but the temperature was much lower than yesterday. So it was much easier to carry out our tour today and we had great fun.
