Hello from JAPAN!!! My dearest guests, I’m Sachiko Aizawa, your guide in Japan. Please call me ‘Happy’. My name, Sachiko, means ‘’happy child’’ in Japanese. I will do my best to make your trip a very happy one. I live in Yokohama City with my family. I have been a licensed English-speaking tour guide for 12 years. I have guided many overseas tourists to various places across Japan. I can't wait to see you and start to explore Japan, a country with both modern and traditional aspects. First, we will go around Tokyo, an organized, chaotic city, and then to Hakone, a volcanic mountain area 50 miles from Tokyo. We will also explore central Japan, including Matsumoto Castle, Takayama City, known as ‘Little Kyoto’, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Shirakawago Village. Then we will go sightseeing in the historical cities of Kyoto and Nara. The temperature will be changeable from 66 to 98 °F. Don't forget to bring a jacket and a folding umbrella!
