This morning we drove to Ortona to commemorate our soldiers who died in a foreign country for their ideals of Freedom and peace. More than thousands are buried in the Moro River cemetery. The youngest One was 16. We saw an historical documentary and Met a testimonial of those days: Tommaso. He Is 88 now but at that time he was 10. He still Remember those young soldiers Who gave him bread soaked in olive oil since he was starving. He spends most of the time in keeping Alive the Memory of those Canadian soldiers by talking to the groups of students visiting Ortona.
