Day 4: July 28, 2025
Today we left London on a 9:00 AM train to France. The Eurostar is a very curious train indeed, since it goes all the way beneath the seafloor - the "english channel".
Once in Paris, we were taken to our hotel, and then we immediately hit the road, and took the Metro into the center. Our stop was "Palais Royal - Musee du Louvre" where we were able to have some lunch before entering the Louvre museum.
After this, we walked together through Paris, across the Seine river, and towards the island in the middle of the river, the Ile de la Cité, where we saw Notre Dame. In the famous Latin Quarter, we had dinner, before taking the Metro back to the hotel.
