Day 7: April 4, 2024
A very busy day today, as we have lots more to learn.
A leisurely breakfast and then we head along the coast to Arromanches to the museum of the D-Day landings. This one tells the history of the UK and Canadian landings at Sword Beach.
Next up is a visit to a German defensive battery.
Lunch, then onto Juno Beach museum for a guided tour of the German defensive systems and the museum itself.
Dinner, then time to have a walk along the beach before bed.
