Pisa and the Magic of Florence
This morning we left the quiet hills of Tuscany and headed to Pisa, where we met our local guide for a tour of the stunning Campo dei Miracoli. We explored the Cathedral, a masterpiece of Romanesque architecture, and of course admired the world-famous Leaning Tower, which never fails to amaze.
After the visit, we returned to Florence just in time for lunch. In the afternoon, we set out on a walking tour of the city’s historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with art, history, and beauty at every corner.
Once the guided portion was over, the group had some free time to explore, take photos, or enjoy a bit of shopping in Florence’s charming streets. After dinner, we made our way back to our hotel in the hills—tired but filled with the beauty and culture of the day.
