Switzerland & Italy

Our last day in Rome started with a walk around the city centre. We entered the Pantheon, threw a coin into the Trevi Fountain (wishing to be back in Rome), and ate ice cream in Piazza Navona. For the second part of the day we changed...country. We crossed the border into Vatican City, and stood in line under the strongest sun ever to enter St. Peter's Basilica. Unfortunately, Michelangelo's "Pietà" was under renovation. So sad... Anyway we had the opportunity to admire a lot of Italian art inside the Vatican Museums, finishing in style in front of another of Michelangelo's masterpiece: the frescos of Sisitine Chapel. After one final lasagna we went back to our hotel: we need to pack our stuff one last time, tomorrow is departure day! But, before that, today is also Ami birthday: sweet italian sixteen Ami!! <3
