Day 3: June 26, 2024

We spent today with a London city guide Tom., First we travelled into central London by coach and had tour of the city, passing many famous monuments and stopping to take photos of Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament, and Buckingham Palace. We had a break for lunch in Victoria, and then headed out of central London to Hampton Court Palace, King Henry VIII's favourite residence. Tom gave us a tour of this magnificent Tudor palace, then we had some free time to look around the gardens, before catching the train back into central London for some free time before dinner. Dinner was 'bangers and mash' (sausages and mashed potato). Some people went to find the Chelsea football stadium, Stamford Bridge, on their way back to the hotel.
