Buongiorno!
very early wake up call.......
we started this lovely sunny day in Rome with Carla, the local guide,who met us at the Vatican Museums.so we visited the Museums, the Sistine Chapel, St Peter's Basilica and St Peter's Square.....some free time for lunch.Then, a short ride by bus with Mario was more then welcomed,on our transfer to the Imperial Rome area.
The guided tour continued with the visit of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.The most ancient district of the city,and of course the highlight!
Big excitment to see the Colosseum inside....
By the end of the guided tour the group was ready for some rest....we had some resting time at the hotel, then made our way to the beautiful district of Trastevere for dinner.
this was a great day in Rome
