Details: Golden Circle excursion
Experience all the geological diversity that Iceland has to offer with a visit to the Tingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that falls on a rift between two tectonic plates. Then make your way to the Great Geysir, watch the Hvítá river disappear into the earth at the Gullfoss waterfall, and watch the Strokkur erupt.

Make a tasty stop on the Golden Circle and visit this unique recently renovated farm to take part in a gelato tasting experience. Sit back, enjoy the gelato while watching the cows through the windows.
Day 3 Reykjavik
Whales of Iceland Museum visit
Details: Full day rehearsals with lead conductor at Harpa Concert Hall
A master conductor will lead the day of ensemble rehearsals at Harpa. Musical skills will be improved through hands-on direction of the master conductor and performing with other student musicians
Day 4 Reykjavik
Details: Pre-concert rehearsals
Final rehearsals will take place in the morning before the grand final concert at Harpa.

    Travel to the Snaefellsnes peninsula
    Details: Bjarnarhofn Shark Museum visit
    Make a stop at the now notorious Shark Museum. In this collector’s heaven you will find quirky items to marvel at and after an educational video on the history of shark fermentation, the bravest amongst the group, will be able to sample the local delicacy in a tasting session. Get your cameras ready!
    Details: Viking Sushi Cruise
    Pack a warm coat, your camera and your chopsticks and get ready for an experience like no other. Cruise by the numerous and varied islands of Breidafjördur Bay and observe the birds surviving on the steep cliffs. On your way back to shore, your hosts will cast a net into the sea to provide you with the freshest sashimi you could possibly get. A sea to table experience!

    Travel to Reykjavik
    Details: Snaefellsnes peninsula excrusion
    With a crashing coastline, natural hot pools, basalt columns formed by cooling lava, volcanoes, and glaciers, the Snaefellsnes Peninsula encapsulates just about everything Iceland is known for within a 90-kilometer-long peninsula. This excursion includes a visit to the Gerduberg basalt columns, one of the longest stretches of basalt columns in Iceland. You’ll also see Rauðfeldsgjá Gorge, a stunning rock formation where you can climb into the crack where a small stream runs out from further up on the rocks. The excursion takes you by Kirkjufell or the Church Mountain, the most photographed landmark in Iceland.
