Québec City: Three Day Spring Tour

During a sound-and-light diorama at Musee du Fort, students experience the famous sieges that led to the battle of the Plains of Abraham in 1759.

Visit the Plains of Abraham where your Tour Director will discuss the events that took place on September 13, 1759. The students, divided into two teams representing the troops of Generals Wolfe and Montcalm, re-enact the famous battle.

Get your creative juices flowing during a one hour musical extravaganza where students, teachers and Tour Directors get to sing, dance and act.

Students enjoy a hearty authentic Québecois meal complete with traditional music and entertainment. After dinner there is a presentation on the production of maple syrup including a taffy pull.

Explore the parks, wildlife reserves, religious heritage buildings, ancient ancestral houses and famous sugar shacks of Cote-de-Beaupre. This charming little village is the ultimate escape from the big city and provides visitors with a picturesque landscape to explore, breathtaking architecture to see and a rich history to discover.

Located just minutes from Québec City, the water at Montmorency Falls plummets 84m and makes for a spectacular sight.

Students visit Albert Gilles Copper Art Museum and discover the mysterious atmosphere of a copper mine. See the copper bearing rocks and then admire the fine artifacts collected around the world. Later, students participate in a hands-on demonstration on the art of Repoussé.

The Manoir Montmorency, perched dramatically at the top of Montmorency Falls, hosts an event exclusive to Keating by Explorica. Within the walls of this elegant, reconstructed country villa, students enjoy a sumptuous dinner. Afterwards, a DJ provides the beats for a dance that promises to be a highlight of the trip.

Explore the Old World grace of Québec City with your Tour Director as you walk along 17th century cobblestone streets and past famous sights such as Place Royale, Notre-Dame-des Victoires Church, Batterie Royale and the Quartier Petit Champlain.
