Here are five tips for feeling your best on your next adventure!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3a8dde;\"><b>Make sure you\u2019re well-rested.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Get a good night\u2019s sleep before your travel day. A well-rested body is more prepared to accept the time changes that come with travelling.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3a8dde;\"><b>Stay hydrated.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Dehydration contributes to jet lag, so staying hydrated will help you feel your best once you arrive. Bring a reusable water bottle that you can fill up before your flight at the airport, and don\u2019t hesitate to ask flight attendants for water during your flight.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3a8dde;\"><b>Don\u2019t take a nap (even though you may want to).<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The easiest way to adjust to a new time zone is to get on their schedule. Most European flights leaving Canada travel at night, so you\u2019ll arrive in the morning of the next day. Hop off the plane and get going! By taking part in activities all day, you\u2019ll be distracted \u2014 and by evening, you\u2019ll be ready to fall fast asleep. The next day, you\u2019ll be synced up with your temporary time zone.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3a8dde;\"><b>Set your watch to the new time zone.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>This helps with mentally preparing yourself for a new rhythm once you arrive at your destination. If your destination is currently sleeping, try to fall asleep during that time as well and vice versa.
