\nYou tour director typically reaches out within 3-5 days before your trip via email.\u00a0 During our busy seasons (Spring & Summer), many of our tour directors are on back-to-back tours, which makes it hard for them to get in touch earlier on.\u00a0 If you have not heard from them 2 days before the tour, be sure to contact your Program consultant to collect their contact information.\u00a0 Be sure to also fill out your Pre-Tour Form after having a meeting with your group to help explain what your expectations are!<\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>Your tour director will update your Tour Diary<\/a><\/strong> each day with pictures and a description of the day\u2019s activities (typically starting on Day 2). Travellers can invite friends & family to view this in the Tour Options section of their Tour Centre account (and the Teacher Toolbox section of the Group leader\u2019s account) The Tour Diary will be updated as long as there is WIFI available.<\/p>\n
\nTour directors are an important part of your on-tour experience.\u00a0 Their job begins well before you arrive and ends long after you head home.\u00a0 They are there to provide information, manage all on-tour logistics, reservation confirmations, Tour Diary updates, and to assist with any emergencies.\u00a0 In the event of any issues with travellers on tour, your tour director will be there to help support all Group leader decisions, but do be aware that they will not act as chaperones or disciplinarians.<\/p>\n
