Details: Reykjavik Guided Walking Sightseeing Tour
Culture, shopping and scenery beckon as you make your way through the charming streets of Reykjavik. From the boutiques and cafes of Laugavegur, to a walk along the grounds of Iceland’s “White House”, your Icelandic experience won’t soon be forgotten. You’ll catch a glimpse of history at the Hofdi House, where Reagan and Gorbachev held their famous summit in 1986. And you’ll take in the majestic beauty of this captivating city and surrounding mountains from the viewing deck at The Hallgrimskirkja Church.

    Kirkjubæjarklaustur 12th-century Catholic convent
    Details: Hveragerði visit
Built upon a collection of geothermally active volcanic hot springs, Hveragerdi offers visitors a truly unique experience. With occasional earthquakes (of the minor variety) rattling the area, you’ll be surprised and amazed to watch the locals go about their daily business as if nothing were amiss. Populated with an abundance of greenhouses, the area is well known for its fresh produce and vibrant flora.
    Details: Dyrhólaey Nature Reserve visit
Along the south coast of Iceland, Dryholaey provides spectacular views of some of nature’s most astounding expressions. One can’t help but be taken in by the big glacier Mýrdalsjökull to the north, while the black lava columns of Reynisdrangar jut out of the sea to fight for your attention. One feature of the area that simply cannot be ignored is the collection of puffins that call the cliffs of Dryholaey home.
  • Day 4 Icelandic Landscapes
    Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon
    Details: Skaftafell National Park excursion
Formed over thousands of years by the continuous blending of volcanic fire and glacial water, Skaftafell National Park is home to striking mountains, glacial lagoons, raging waterfalls, and some of Iceland’s most agreeable weather. But perhaps its most impressive feature is the Vatnajokull Ice Cap—the largest glacier in Iceland. It is here that, on one of the many sunny days the area is known for, you’ll have an opportunity to enjoy the world’s longest sight line, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.
