Day 1 Greetings from Alexandre! Let me take a few lines to tell you about myself... I am FRENCH and I love my job! I had the opportunity to meet the Redvers crew in the Montreal airport when they arrived after their 3 hr flight. They were shy at the beginning, then slowly showed me their true selves... Ha ha! We had a 3 hr bus ride to Quebec City, followed by lovely meal at the Cote a Cote restaurant in lower town. They had the choice of chicken, steak or salmon, and all were fantastic! The restaurant's architecture blew everyone away as it was 300 yrs ago. Mrs. Urschel took many pictures, which she will share with all the students when they return. After supper, we went for a long walk up «break neck» stairs. Mrs. Urschel did not enjoy the stairs, however, is still alive! Ha ha! Many few fascinated with the stores and beautiful views of Old Quebec. The Chateau Frontenac was the most beautiful sight thus far! Once reaching upper Quebec, the students went to a 3D Quebec Experience. WOW! There were amazing special effects such as water, snow and a canon. It taught the students fascinating information about how Quebec came to be the beautiful and romantic city that it is. Tomorrow, we plan to go dog sledding, lunch in old Quebec, followed by snow tubing at Village Valcartier. We will be eating supper at the sugar shack! Yum! Can't wait! Stay tuned for pictures :D ALEX.
